How to join

Three steps to the battlefield.

All you need is Minecraft: Java Edition.

Open Minecraft

Launch Minecraft: Java Edition on version 1.21.11 and click Multiplayer.

Add the server

Click Add Server, paste the IP below into Server Address, then hit Done and join.

Byron SMP is brutal on purpose — but there's a line. Here's where it is.

The full rulebook

General

  1. 1
    Respect everyoneNo harassment, hate speech, slurs, or excessive toxicity. Friendly trash talk is allowed.
  2. 2
    No cheatingNo hacked clients, X-Ray, Kill Aura, Fly, Speed, duping, glitches, or exploits. Do not exploit glitches to locate bases.
  3. 3
    No unfair modsPerformance and visual mods are allowed. Mods that give an unfair advantage are not.
  4. 4
    Bans reset each seasonPlayers banned during a season get unbanned when the next season starts.

PvP & Lifesteal

  1. 5
    PvP is allowedPvP, raiding, stealing, and wars are part of the server. Outside protected areas, expect to be attacked.
  2. 6
    No combat loggingDo not leave during combat to avoid death. A combat-log system may be added if needed.
  3. 7
    No spawn killingDo not repeatedly kill players who have just joined or respawned.
  4. 8
    No heart-farming exploitsGrinding hearts through real fights is fine. Farming them with alts, arranged deaths, or exploits is not.

Bases & Griefing

    Griefing is allowedYou may raid, steal, and destroy builds. Do NOT intentionally lag or crash the server with excessive entities, redstone, etc.

Teams

  1. 10
    Teaming is allowedAlliances, rivalries, betrayals, and wars are allowed.
  2. 11
    No alt abuseNo alts for extra hearts, loot, or unfair advantages.
  3. 12
    No impersonationDo not impersonate staff or players to deceive others.

Trading

    Scamming is allowedAll trades are at your own risk. Staff will NOT return items lost through scams or punish legitimate in-game scams.

Chat

    Keep chat reasonableNo spam, excessive flooding, or advertising other servers without permission.

Staff

    Respect staffRespect staff decisions. Disputes should be handled privately.
  2. 16
    PunishmentsPunishments may include warnings, bans, item removal, or other actions depending on severity.
